Skyscape Visualizations’ artists are not only proficient at the art of 3d modeling, lighting, texturing and rendering, but are well above any in house firms when it comes to adding that extra touch to our work. We have a wealth of experience in the field of editing colour grading, compositing and make use of green screen facilities.
Editing
Our editing skills allow us to surpass the work of many regular studios that have little or no experience in the field. Due to this inexperience, they consistently create very dull, boring and non energetic fly-through animations with no emotional connection to the style or feeling of the particular product brand or development being portrayed. Combining our editing skills with our 3d renders, gives us the freedom to manipulate the timing and mood of an animation, allowing it to portray the exact emotion that the client needs for their development or product. Whether it be bold and fast paced or elegantly smooth and sleek, we can create it
Colour Grading
We then go a step further in our production workflow to take the raw 3d renders from our software and add a process that is known as a colour grade to them.
What colour grading does, is give a distinct feeling and mood to the project at hand.
With our colour grading tools, we are able to highlight and alter any form or amount of colours to any picture or animation, whether it be changing dull, yellow looking grass to a lush, beautiful green or tinting the sky from one time of day to another.
Colour grading also allows us to create a sense of time to any picture or render. An example of this would be the car that was rendered in this day and age but ‘transformed’ to a time such as the early 1900’s where vehicles of that caliber simple did not exist.
